A little bit about me...

I’m Regina and I live in Hampshire with my husband and two young children. For the last 14 years, I have been practicing as a Midwife and Nurse in the NHS, a career I really love and enjoy. I am very passionate about my role as a Midwife, and I find helping new families so rewarding. I see families daily in my midwifery role and understand both from personal experience and seeing these families postnatally the sleep and feeding struggles they can face with nowhere to turn, or mixed advice given. I think there is a huge gap in infant sleep education in the antenatal period and I want to educate parents to get them off to the best start in those tiring but precious early months and years. It is ok to want your baby to rest for an hour whilst you catch up on work, housework, or even just have a shower and eat.

I know from both personal and professional experience the effect sleep deprivation can have on new mothers and their partners both mentally and physically. With family living abroad and not having them a part of my village as a new mother, I found this very tough but soon found hope and my way with support from friends. I used sleep coaching methods for both of my own children and within a few nights we had a baby who slept solidly overnight. It really was life changing.

I am passionate about sleep and feeding and have firsthand experience on these issues. I want to enable parents to trust their gut when it comes to these issues and persist until they feel fully listened to. I would like to improve the lives of new mums and their families who are experiencing sleep challenges and be a part of the transformation that takes them from sleep deprivation to feeling like themselves again and getting their life back because their baby is now sleeping and napping due to the work and commitment we’ve done together to make it happen.
